This high-power amplifier is capable of receiving a symmetrical 90VDC voltage and delivering an impressive power output of up to 2800W RMS. It is specifically designed for use with 18-21inch subwoofer speakers, making it perfect for enhancing your audio experience.
Mr. Katino Surodipo was the mastermind behind the creation of the scheme.
I have already created a SMD version of the D2K5 amplifier before. Assembling the SMD version can be quite challenging due to the small size of the components. However, in this post, I have utilized a single feedback, specifically prefilter feedback.
I created a version of regular components without SMD components since my friends are excited about assembling with DIP components or regular components.
The characteristics remain unchanged from the SMD edition, however, for the OCP I opted for the most recent version of OCP utilizing transistors, instead of the previous NE555.
Here's the PCB layout for your reference, featuring a dual-layer design.
Class-D Power Amplifier PCB Layout D2K5
The PCB measures 9.5cm in width and 28cm in length. For the signal section, I utilize arc angle paths instead of wide paths measuring 0.3-0.5mm to minimize noise or hum, as it is shielded by grounding for better optimization.
