Power Amplifier SOCL 504 500W-2000W

The SOCL 504 Power Amplifier circuit has made a comeback as a popular amplifier choice. It is easy to use, provides good quality sound for both indoor and outdoor settings, and is an affordable option. Experience the power of the 500-Watt SOCL and discover how it has evolved from the 150 Watt OCL, now modified for high voltage above 40VDC.

The Power Amplifier SOCL 504 500 Watt has been tested with a 45V DC voltage and it still produces a good and consistent sound. Even when tested with an 80V DC voltage, the sound remains flat across almost all frequencies. There is still a possibility for modification to enhance the bass and increase the power of 18-inch speakers by adding more final transistors.

Three transistors are intentionally mounted on the PCB board as VAS, although they are not overheating. The model is different from the original version. In order to achieve maximum output power, the power amplifier circuit needs a DC voltage source with high current. Therefore, the power supply for this power amplifier circuit should have a transformer that can provide at least 20 A and a voltage range of 45V DC to 80V DC.

Here is the schematic of the SOCL 504 power amplifier circuit.
